Telly puts MarkLogic CEO in the picture

Just reading Dave Kellogg's blog on the presentation by Telly Stroumbis I had to smile at his glossing over of the first slide...

He had photoshoped the conferences standard first slide to change the heads to be some of Mark Logic's key staff - this after Dave had made merry of the first slide earlier....

I wish I had a better picture - maybe the changes will still be there when the presentation is made available!

MarkLogic 4.0

At the user conference (http://www.marklogic.com/UserConference2008/) for MarkLogic in San Francisco Mark Logic have been showing some of the new features available in version 4.0 scheduled for release Q32008.

Possibly the most packed session was on Advanced Analytics where some very nice new features where demo - especially interesting was the co-occurance feature on lexicons - at the moment its limited to 2 dimensions, but I can see the glimmers of a hypercube being built in realtime....

Mark Logic user conference

this week I am at the user conference for Mark Logic in San Francisco, I'm attending the training sessions as well. Mark Logic User Conference 2008

The agenda sounds very interesting, it will be good to see some of the ways people are using the software.

Having flown over from the United Kingdom I was hoping it might be warmer here - turns out that its now baking in London and pretty cool here - *grumble*
